The Fairfield PTA Council provides grants to help fund community service activities initiated by Fairfield Public School groups. The Community Service Grant Committee will accept grant applications in the fall and spring of each year.

Mission Statement

Encourage and support community service activities involving our students, both within and outside Fairfield's borders, in order to broaden our students' sense of social responsibility and make our world a better place.

Guidelines

• Activity must be sponsored by a faculty/staff member from a Fairfield Public School and approved by the principal/headmaster of that school.
  
  
• Activity should seek to involve as many Fairfield Public School students as possible.
  
  
• Requested grants/funds must be directed toward the community service activity itself rather than for community service volunteers.

Application Process

Applications may be obtained from the PTA Council website at www.ffldptac.org.

Completed applications must be received on or before the November 4 or March15 deadline to be considered.

Applications must be submitted to both addresses:

Important: If you do not receive an email confirmation within 1 week of submitting an application, contact the committee chairperson immediately.

The PTA Council Community Service Grant Committee will review grant applications to determine grant recipients. Grant recipients will be required to submit a final report, with receipts, upon completion of the activity.
